Laura Hamilton unveils her stunning marble kitchen in Surrey home renovation
Laura Hamilton has proudly unveiled the results of her stunning marble kitchen as she renovates her Surrey home from top-to-toe.
The A Place In The Sun star, 40, has battled the odds to keep the house renovation afloat after a ‘rollercoaster journey’ which saw her marriage breakdown, a fire break out at her home and soaring building costs add financial pressure.
But on Wednesday, Laura was one step closer to completion, with her children Rocco, nine, and Tahlia, seven, also helping out.
The kitchen had a marble island with a waterfall wrap, while the wooden cupboards had a chic glass section for the presenter to display all her glassware.
The bespoke table was complemented with rattan chairs and a wooden fruit bowl, while huge glass doors opened out to the garden.

Laura documented the renovation process on her YouTube channel as she met with granite and marble specialists to design her kitchen, before getting stuck in with painting the white walls.
She wrote: ‘My Kitchen is almost finished – there is still a fair bit of painting to do but I LOVE IT!
‘It has been a rollercoaster of a journey and like all projects things haven’t always gone to plan.
‘I have designed my property from start to finish (the end is in sight) and Rocco and Tahlia have been very much part of the journey too. I think they have enjoyed watching it progress each week and seeing it transform from a ‘build project’ to a ‘HOME’.
Fans flocked to the comment section to praise Laura’s mammoth efforts.
One wrote: ‘Beautiful kitchen, it looks amazing. You’re a real superwoman, don’t know how you do everything that you do!’
Another added: ‘This can only be described as stunning! You’ve done a wonderful job designing this space. I hope you’ll be very happy in your new lovely home with your children.’

Home sweet home: Back in September, Laura gave fans the latest update on the renovation process of her huge new house
New abode: The star revealed the impressive home in a video
Cosy: She also included a clip of the roof being put on and the layout of rooms inside and a roof beam
Moving day: Laura proudly showed off her new home back in January 2022 and could be seen smiling as she stood outside the double fronted red brick property
‘It looks absolutely beautiful Laura’, typed a third fan.
But it hasn’t been easy for Laura to get to this point. The TV star announced her shock split from husband Alex Goward last May, in September there was a small fire at the home which was put out safely.
Announcing her split from Alex at the time: ‘This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.
‘Our children are and always will be our number one priority and we would respect privacy for our family at this time.’
Shortly after the split was confirmed, Laura revealed she had moved into a new property in Surrey, close by to their marital home, revealing she was in the midst of a big renovation.
The former couple also owned a coffee shop in Purley called Lord Roberts on The Green but three months after the break-up, it changed ownership to Ghazala Akhtar.
Laura admitted the house was ‘overwhelming’ and putting pressure on her finances as she had been unable to live in the new home for the past nine months.
She told the Metro in January: ‘I’m short on time. Money short. But it is what it is, and it’s my home, and I’m trying to create something special for myself and my children.
‘I think one of the most poignant moments for me was when my little boy came back into the house and he saw that I’d painted the staircase and had a carpet put on.’
Laura continued: ‘He just looked at me and he just gave me a big hug. Because he’d seen it [when there was] no staircase and [he] had to climb up step ladders.’
Family: Laura shares two children, Rocco, nine, and Tahlia, seven with her ex-husband Alex, (pictured), but they have remained on good terms following their split
